The Simpsons: Tapped Out Burns' Casino content update was released on February 23, 2016 and was the one hundred and twentieth content update. It's based on the Season 5 episode $pringfield (Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling). It was teased by EA on the game's Facebook page on February 22, 2016. It included 7 new characters, 2 new skin-building combos, 2 new skins, 13 new buildings, 24 new decorations and 5 new decoration skins.

The event is split into three parts, akin to most recent events.

Charles Montgomery Burns (or simply Mr. Burns) is a non-premium character in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. He is the first villain to be unlocked, and is included with the completion of the Cooling Towers. He is the owner and only resident of Burns Manor located on the edge of Springfield and the father of Larry Burns.
