First Council Casino Waterpark
Review of First Council Casino Hotel Reviewed March 19, 2019 We came as a family of 4 for the waterpark. Thankfully that aspect was really good. Oklahoma’s first and only water park and casino opens Monday to the public at First Council Casino Hotel north of Newkirk. The Seven Clans Indoor Water Park is for the exclusive free use of hotel guests. Visitors will need to book a room to play in the Water Park. The water park includes four water slides, with the highest being 30 feet tall.
The Otoe-Missouria Tribe is getting ready to open an indoor water park at one of its casinos in Oklahoma. The 19,300 square-foot attraction is set to open at the 7 Clans First Council Casino Hotel in Newkirk on February 25. It's being billed as the only indoor water park at a gaming facility in the state. “Building upon our outstanding gaming and hotel facilities as well as our unique concert venue, we look forward to offering even more entertainment options to our patrons and their families. The expansion will provide a family entertainment experience unlike any other in our region,” Chairman John R. Shotton told The Stillwater News-Press. The water park is part of expansion the tribe began about a year ago. The project includes a arcade, diner, coffee shop and an additional suite-style rooms at the hotel. The water park is exclusive to hotel guests, according to the 7 Clans website. In addition to 7 Clans, the tribe operates two casinos, one in Red Rock and another in Perry. There are also two 'gasinos,' or gas stations featuring gaming machines, in Newkirk and Red Rock. Withe the announcement of 7 Clans First Council Casino back open, here is a list of details as of May 12.
First Council Casino : Open 7 days a week 2p-2a.
– The hotel is now accepting reservations for Thursdays through Sundays.
– snack bar, Flatwater and main bar are open. No bar top seating available.
– Flatwater hours are Sunday – Thursday 4p-10p and Friday- Saturday 4p-11p.
– all other food outlets, waterpark and arcade are closed.
– Table games is also closed
– Beaver Bar and Casino (gaming area on hotel side) is closed
Chilocco Gasino : Open 7 days a week 2p-2a
Red Rock Gasino : Closed
Perry Casino : Closed
Paradise Casino : Closed
